Abstract (English):
The monograph is devoted to the current state of the administrative and legal status of a doctor in the Russian Federation. The concept, signs and structure of administrative and legal status, basic rights and guarantees of the realization of the rights of a doctor in the field of public administration, problems of administrative and disciplinary responsibility of doctors are considered. Based on the results of the scientific research, the classification of administrative and legal relations with the participation of doctors was carried out; proposals were developed to eliminate terminological uncertainty between the concepts of "doctor", "medical worker", "specialist doctor" and "attending physician"; the need to establish administrative responsibility for improper provision of medical services, which entailed the infliction of mild and moderate the severity of the harm to the patient's health; proposals have been made to improve legislation in the field of public health protection in the Russian Federation. It is addressed to researchers in the field of administrative and medical law, practitioners in the field of public health, students and undergraduates studying at medical and law schools, as well as a wide range of readers.
