Mission

The journal "Vestnik of DSTU" has been created with a view of ensuring a modern quality of the education based on the fundamentality preservation and the adaptation to the current human, public, and state needs. The periodical is aimed at the strengthening, expansion of the comprehensive scientific and information space of Russia, and at its effective integration into the global scientific and information space.

The journal is addressed to those who work out strategic growth priorities for the contemporary science: researchers, postgraduates, undergraduates, engineers and technicians, lecturers-practitioners who face the task of high quality assurance for all levels of the engineering and technical education based on its fundamentality, informatization, and application of the latest achievements in science and technologies.

Topical issues of the present-day scientific trends, and fundamental research results in technical sciences, tool engineering, machine building, mathematics, physics, information technologies, computer security, media communications, media technologies, vital activity security, environment protection and social sciences, are actively discussed on the pages of the journal.

The editorial policy of the journal is based on the conventional ethical principles of the Russian scientific periodicals, it follows the code of publication ethics, stated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (Russia, Moscow), and is formed in recognition of the ethical norms of the editors and publishers' activities enshrined in the Code of conduct and best practice guidelines for journal editors and in Сode conduct for journal publishers, worked out by the Committee on publication ethics (COPE).
