The article reveals the content of the concept of personnel labor efficiency in business structures. The essence, types and components of this concept are substantiated. A formula for calculating labor efficiency, which forms surplus value, is given. The relationship and levels of efficiency with various types of profitability in various areas of the company's activity are shown. Current schools, concepts and practices of management and management that actively use digital technologies are indicated. The article shows the content of the National Project "Data Economy", its directions and niches, where the mechanism for improving labor efficiency can organically develop using digital technologies of the business ecosystem, as well as management technologies for improving labor efficiency based on the Data Economy. In addition, its niches are shown, where labor efficiency is manifested and ways to increase it.
