The article examines the reasons for the insufficiently effective anti-inflation policy in Russia and concludes that the Central Bank, currently responsible for anti-inflation policy, does not have all the necessary means to implement it. It is established that limiting the money supply in the economy is not enough to radically slow down price growth. It is proposed to build an anti-inflation policy on the basis of strategic management with the division of functions for influencing key inflation factors between individual economic departments that have the appropriate powers and means of influence.
