Industrial policy as a subsystem of economic policy is based on the active participation of the state and its subjects in supporting industrial development using direct resource support for the development of priority areas. This article examines the main trends dictating the content of industrial policy aimed at increasing its own industrial potential and its effectiveness by entering the modern technological order within the framework of the fourth industrial revolution.
