The article examines the issue of economic development of the Arctic region of Russia in modern conditions, with an emphasis on factors that reduce the competitiveness of industrial enterprises. The main goal of the work is to analyze the qualitative abilities and factors that reduce the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in these regions. The lack of an integrated approach in government strategies makes it difficult to create “support zones,” which in turn affects the competitive advantages of enterprises. Industrial corporations operating in the Arctic territories act as a link between the global economy and local production, which helps attract investment and develop the region.
