The relevance of the presented study is determined by the fact that for the Russian Federation, which is one of the largest net exporters of energy resources in the world, an important task is the development of conceptually new approaches to the development of its export potential in the field of energy resources, taking into account the dynamics of the world energy market, which requires adequate development of the categorical apparatus of the state's export potential in the field of energy resources, which predetermined the choice of the research topic. The aim of the research is to develop a categorical apparatus of the state’s export potential in the energy resources sector, taking into account the dynamics of the development of the global energy market. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the substantiation of a new concept: “strategy for the development of the state’s export potential in the energy resources sector, taking into account the dynamics of energy transitions in the global economy.” The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that the formulated proposals will allow, already at the level of the conceptual apparatus, to recognize, in the strategy for developing the export potential of the state in the sphere of energy resources, the expected change in the proportions in the composition of the energy resources used, determined by the dynamics of energy transitions in the global economy, and requiring adequate development of the export potential in the sphere of energy resources.
