e article discusses the issues of improving the criminal law on liability for violations and abuses in the system of public procurement of goods, services and works for the needs of the state. The article reveals the criminal-legal and historical aspects of the formation and development of the criminal legislation of Russia on the inevitable responsibility of the perpetrators for these criminally punishable acts. The power structures of our country reliably protect the economic security of our independent state, effectively countering criminality in the system of state order.
