In this paper, attention is drawn to the trends in the development of legal science in the Russian state. The presence of social principles in legal studies in various periods of the state, including in the crisis conditions of a special military operation, is substantiated. The role of publishing the results of legal research to stabilize the situation in society and the state is characterized.
