The relevance of the presented research is determined by the fact that Internet banking is an integral part of the modern financial system, acts as one of the most progressive banking services, which is the most convenient and accessible to users. The article examines the essence of Internet banking, as well as mobile banking. The main purpose of Internet banking is defined, as well as the features of its functioning and advantages. For comparison, mobile banking, its capabilities, advantages and disadvantages, as well as its differences from conventional Internet banking are considered. The rating of the best online banks in 2023 is given. Taking into account the development of technologies and the increasing demand for online services, as well as the challenges and problems of the present time, the trends in the development of Russian Internet banking and mobile banking are determined. As a result of the research, it was concluded that Internet banking continues to develop and offer new opportunities for banking services.
