The paper proposes to use the method of immanent analysis demonstrated by M.L. Gasparov in the work “Again the clouds over me ... Methods of analysis”. The Gasparov method allows us to consider groups of «key words» in Brodsky's work, analyze the topic of the text, follow the formation of the plot of the poem at the lexical level, and analyze the connection of this plot with the metric device of the poem and with the semantic halo of the 5-foot anapaest used by the poet. In addition, the analysis method is effective for identifying new opportunities for interpreting the lyrical plot of the poem by I.A. Brodsky.
