The article discusses current environmental problems, as well as the consequences of the impact of ecology on the health of the population of Russia. The author draws attention to the negative consequences of ignoring environmental problems both in the present and based on historical experience. Special attention is paid to the following environmental rights guaranteed today by the Constitution of the Russian Federation: 1) the right to a favorable environment; 2) the right to reliable information about the state of the environment; 3) the right to compensation for damage caused to human health or property by an environmental offense. The author highlights the main problems of implementation in practice of each of these rights. The novelty of the work consists in a comprehensive analysis of the current problems of the impact of ecology on the population of Russia, especially on the health of pregnant women, minor children. The purpose of the work: to form a scientific understanding of the current problems of the impact of ecology on the health of the population of Russia. When writing the work, the author actively used the historical-comparative method, formal-logical methods (analysis, synthesis).
