Russian Federation
This article attempts to analyze the demographic policy of Russia from the point of view of solving the set goals and objectives in its development and the current economic and demographic situation. Th e purpose of the study is to determine the indicators of the effectiveness of demographic policy and to evaluate with their help the effectiveness of such a policy in Russia. It is concluded that the current federal demographic policy in the Russian Federation has poor effectiveness, for the period from 2006 to 2021, many indicators of demographic development have deteriorated or have unstable dynamics.
