Relevance. Ethno-demographic situation in Russia associated with the formation of new compactly living ethnic communities which leads to intense cross-breeding population, especially in multi-ethnic regions. Object. Interethnic relations generic structure to the ethnic Métis. Subject of the Study. Identification and subidentification indicators of ethnocultural community. The hierarchical structure of ethnic identity: primordialism components (kinship origin) and sociocultural elements in identification. Installation emotional-motivational and cognitive representation of ethnic origin, values and ideals, the images of identity ethnospecific picture of the world as identification indicators. Orientation of the Article. The multilayer Altay ethnic consciousness and the impact of generic status of the parents, especially of his(her) father, on the ethnic identity of Métis are considered. It has been concluded that the Métis of the Russian Altay origin perceive gender as an ethnos belonging attribute.

1. Метисы и межэтнические отношения
Межэтнические отношения в современных условиях являются одним из важнейших факторов социально-политической устойчивости региональных сообществ. В процессы регионального межэтнического взаимодействия вовлечены этнические общности всех типов, отличающиеся специфической внутренней структурой и самобытностью этнического самосознания. «Этническое самосознание есть относительно устойчивая система осознанных представлений и оценок, реально существующих этнодифференциирующих и этноинтегрирующих признаков жизнедеятельности этноса» [1, с. 63]. Этническое самосознание локализуется главным образом в эмоционально-мотивационной сфере, проявляясь в представлениях о происхождении этноса, его ценностных ориентациях и идеалах, образах идентичности, этноспецифической картине мира, на уровне психологических установок представляет собой основание для этнической самоидентификации индивида.
