The Russian financial market, interacting with digital technologies, discovers a completely new industry – "Financial Technologies", which is currently in the growth stage. The article is devoted to the analysis and study of the concept of "Fintech" at the present stage, the pros and cons of the phenomenon in the Russian Federation, consumer behavior, insufficient elaboration of the phenomenon in the legal field are considered. The specifics of the digital transformation of companies due to the emergence of innovative technologies in the sector are revealed, recommendations are offered to accelerate the digitalization of companies using the example of Fintech. Special attention is paid to the prospects for the development of the Russian segment of Fintech, possible sanctions of the Western community and their impact on the evolution of the industry.
