The study aims at highlighting formal aspects of the cultural dialogue within the scope of individual, ethnic and state levels. The author’s definition of the term “dialogues of cultures” as the process of cultural exchange between one or several participants (members of different types of cultures) which implies either direct form of interaction or by means of the information and communication media has been put forward. The result of this process is viewed as the acquiring new information by the engaged which in its turn contributes to better understanding of other culture individuals’ activities and therefore encourages their effective orientation in the existing environment.
