The technique of determining the optimum load capacity of bunkers of towingdriven distribution units on the example of seeding ma-chines is presented. The factors influencing the increase in labor productivity are considered, and it is determined that it is necessary to in-crease the power and weight of the unit for this. A review of studies on the impact of running systems of modern mobile units showed that soil compaction by movers exceeds current GOST 26955-86 of established norms of maximum pressures of propellers of mobile units and the maximum normal stresses in the soil at a depth of 0.5 m.
