Analysis of the current literature shows that treatment and prevention of inflammatory diseases of periodontal tissues remains an actual problem of dentistry in the XXI century. Existing approaches to the treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of patients with inflammatory diseases of parodont have certain disadvantages. The purpose of this study was to obtain positive results from the use of modulated diode light in the red spectrum region in the complex treatment of chronic periodontitis. The study shows the use of opportunities of determination of socio-dental indicators the social impact of dental disease in the clinical assessment of the status of periodontal tissues in the patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of gum. 59 patients were divided into 2 groups. The first group received traditional therapy and photodynamic therapy. The second group was a control. Assessment of the effect of dental disease on quality of life was carried out in all patients. The results of the study showed that after the complex treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis using modulated diode light in the red spectrum region, changes in the assessment of the impact of dental disease on quality of life are of stable positive. The results of the research motivate the necessity of applying and evaluating the impact of dental disease on quality of life in the rehabilitation of patients with chronic generalized parodontitis. The results of this study showed that after the complex treatment of chronic periodontitis using modulated diode light in the red spectrum region, changes in psychological status of patients have positive dynamics.

Новой философии современной медицины соответствует представление об улучшении качества жизни человека. Стоматологическое здоровье влияет на эстетику лица, обеспечивает качество питания инди-видуума, оказывает существенное влияние на формирование речи, полноценность психики и поведение в обществе [3] На клиническом приеме врач-стоматолог сталкивается с психологическими, психосоматическими и медико-социальными проблемами, что опосредованно, влияет на результат стоматологического лечения больного. Сегодня доказано, что успех стоматологического лечения во многом определяется психосоматическим статусом пациента, его реакцией на врачебные манипуляции. Отсюда следует необходимость проведения оценки психосоматического состояния пациента. Снижение функционального состояния служит прогностически неблагоприятным признаком и может являться одной из причин развития осложнений в ходе проводимого лечения [4, 5].
Комплексный подход к лечению заболеваний пародонта предполагает снижение негативных реакций пациента на врачебные манипуляции. В свете современной доступности информационных ресурсов интернета, появляется тренд на использования «новых технологий» в клинической практике. Применение фотодина-мотерапии в составе комплексной терапии воспалительных заболеваний пародонта отвечает требованиям пациентов, а именно: безболезненность, доступность, комфортность, технологичность [1, 2].
Цель исследования – изучить влияние воспалительных заболеваний пародонта на качество жизни больного. Выявить влияние применения модулированного диодного света в красной области спектра в комплексном лечении на процесс реабилитации больных с диагнозом: хронический генерализованный пародонтит.
