A mathematical model and its implementation to determine the key indicators of quality wood - porosity, density and strength depending on the wood macrostructure main tree species growing in the temperate climate zone is presented. Interdependence macrostructure, porosity, density and strength of softwood and hardwood were investigated.

Важнейшими показателями, характеризующими качество древесины, являются пористость, плотность и прочность. Эти показатели широко используются для расчетов процессов нагревания древесины, имеют большое значение при пропитке растворами антисептиков и антипиренов с целью улучшения ее свойств, при сушке древесины, при сплаве лесоматериалов и в других случаях.
