The main approaches to the assessment of the export potential of industry at the macroeconomic, regional and microeconomic levels are considered in the article. The importance of systematization of indicators to assess the export potential deal with the implementation of the new economic policies conducive to increased competitiveness of the national economy. The analysis of macroeconomic indicators underlying the assessment of the competitiveness of the domestic economy in the world market deal with the dynamics of industrial enterprises development. The article considers the technique of the estimation of export potential at various economic levels, gives the analysis of dynamic indicators of development of information technologies for last years, revealsthe reasons of discrepancy of results declared to the purposes of development.
