The article describes the features of innovative entrepreneurship in the states with transitional economy. The author proves that sharp, abrupt increase in productivity on a national scale may be as a result of the implementation of breakthrough basic technological innovation exactly by business structures. This will start a chain of positive synergy effects in related industries and lead to a sharp increase in the pace of growth of the national economy.
