A key problem of paper is revelation of project system elements which can be managed by network modeling. Carrying out of analysis of scientific publications in systems of design management on the basis of Web of Science and ProQuest databases has given a chance to consider statistics of publishing activity, and also to investigate concrete references for revelation of main tendencies related to networks theory use in project management. The author has identified the most demanded and actual directions of network approach application and, in particular, of social networks analysis, to design management system elements.

Постановка проблемы исследования
Управление проектами как одно из направлений менеджмента сегодня проработано достаточно глубоко: элементы системы проекта давно определены и служат объектом исследований как многочисленных научных школ (управление персоналом, затратами, временнми параметрами проектов и др.), так и практиков в плане формирования стандартов и успешного приложения инструментов управления проектами.
Однако динамичная среда, в которой проекты реализуются на практике, способствует появлению факторов, влияющих на возникновение новых состояний (явлений) и необходимости принятия управленческих решений в изменившихся условиях работы. Таким образом, формируется потребность в проведении новых научных обобщений и совершенствовании существующих методологий.
Необходимо отметить, что одним из текущих, обладающих научной и практической новизной, широко исследуемых и актуальных направлений анализа практики управления проектами является изучение взаимодействия и выявление общих закономерностей, а также возможностей применения различных инструментов в областях знаний, напрямую не связанных между собой. На наш взгляд, в проектном менеджменте такие подходы особенно актуальны. Так, например, в последние годы особенно популярными становятся исследования психологических аспектов управления проектами. Также востребованными являются вопросы адаптации закономерностей естественных наук к управлению сложными процессами интеграции проектов или формированию расписания, а также некоторые другие области проектного менеджмента.
Одним из востребованных на сегодняшний день направлений, в которых совмещаются подходы из различных наук, является представление проектов в виде социальных сетей, анализируемых в контексте взаимодействия индивидов или организаций, направленное на улучшение процессов обмена и трансформации знаний, установление коммуникаций, увеличение влияния потенциала лидерства отдельных ключевых участников на работу других сотрудников (организационные элементы проекта) и другие вопросы.
