The article analyzes the theoretical approaches to the development of innovative entrepreneurship ecosystems. The necessity of a holistic approach to the creation of innovative business ecosystem is determined. The similarities and differences in the approaches of different authors to understanding the essence of the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship are presented. The article analyzes the existing strategy of engineering support university research infrastructure. Small innovative companies at universities are considered as a specific type of business activity. These strategies are considered as an important element of the ecosystem of small innovative enterprises established at universities. The conclusions about the acceptability of the choice of a strategy for specific university complexes are made. It is noted that the implementation of the commercialization of results of intellectual activity with the Institute of small innovative enterprises requires the formation of an integrated ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship.
