A brief overview of the provisions of the resource theory is presented in relation to the problems of using various resources in manufacturing enterprises. Using a multivariate econometric model, quantitative estimates of the influence of resource consumption factors on the nature and performance of a manufacturing company have been obtained. The most significant factor has been identified, and a medium-term forecast has been made based on the ARIMA random walk model. Conclusions have been drawn about possible transformations in the relationship between resource consumption and the performance of a manufacturing company.
