THE SOCIAL COLLAPSE OF THE UNITED STATES
IN THE MID-TWENTIETH AND EARLY TWENTY-FIRST CENTURIES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to study the trend in the evolution of US social policy in the context of the transformation of government regulation mechanisms. The relevance of the study is due to the need to analyze the structural features of unemployment in the United States as a key indicator of social policy and economics. The study focuses on the dynamics of its spread across social groups and regions, as well as on identifying risk factors in the context of labor market transformation. The methodological basis of this research is based on the synthesis of the fundamental principles of classical and modern political theory with the principles of a systematic approach. This approach allows not only to deeply analyze individual political phenomena, but also to consider them in a complex, taking into account the interrelationships between various elements of the political system and the external environment. The synthesis of fundamental theoretical principles with a systematic approach makes it possible to achieve maximum depth and objectivity of analysis. This ensures the scientific rigor of the research, avoids one-sided interpretations and contributes to the formation of a holistic, multidimensional view of the complex political processes of our time. The empirical part of the work is based on the methods of political, statistical, comparative and economic-statistical analysis. The author of the study concludes that similar development trends are typical for modern Europe. Nevertheless, their manifestation has its own specifics: they are conditioned by the historical legacy of the pre-war and pre-capitalist past. In contrast, the transformation processes in the United States are more straightforward. The theoretical and practical significance of the research lies in the fact that its results can be used in the development and adjustment of Russian social assistance programs to solve current problems in this area.
