Logical-methodological culture is a set of logical tools (techniques, methods, rules, laws, etc.) that a person or social group speaks. A person may possess some logical culture, even if he did not study logic. There is even an opinion that the ability to reason logically is inherent in people by nature. This view is mistaken. However, if the logical-methodological culture is not given to man by nature, how is it formed? They possess logical culture in the course of communication, learning, in the process of reading literature. Meeting repeatedly with various methods and reasoning and logical-methodological techniques, people gradually learn them and begin to understand which ones are correct and which are incorrect, which ones increase the efficiency of pedagogical work and which are not. The specified way of the formation of logical culture can be called “natural”. It is not the best, because people, not having studied logic, as a rule, do not possess these or other logical methods, and in addition, they have different logical culture that is not conducive to learning. The study of logic is the most productive way of forming and development of the logical-methodological culture of teachers. The article insists that the profession of the person imposes special requirements to the level of his logical and methodological culture. Because the goal of teachers is the dissemination of scientific knowledge, the article formulates the criteria of scientific character and scientific knowledge. The main criterias of scientific knowledge are expressions the meaning of which is known, using the techniques of clarification of terms, the distinction between empirical and theoretical knowledge, etc.
