The author explores the evolution of conceptual approaches to business strategy for network companies in the digital economy. The need to study conceptual approaches to strategizing stems from the insufficient knowledge of approaches to business strategy for network companies in a dynamically developing market, increasing competition, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the transformation of modern consumer behavior. The purpose of this article is to substantiate the advantages of an ecosystem approach for a modern network company. To achieve this goal, the author conducted a bibliographic analysis of several sources, systematized approaches to strategizing, identifying the tools for their implementation, and conducted a bibliometric analysis. The article demonstrates the relevance of the ecosystem approach to business strategy for network companies compared to industry-based and resource-based approaches.
