The article deals with topical issues of realization of state youth policy in modern Russia. The main attention is paid to the political socialization of the Russian youth. The authors study the possibility of involving civil society in the decision of the objectives of state youth policy. The problems of public-civil partnership in the sphere of youth policy are analyzed. The criteria for the effeciency of the activity of public associations in the political socialization of young Russian citizens are developed. Some ideas of coordination of «youth parliaments», «youth governments» and research associations of young scientists to improve the mechanisms of technology of state youth policy are suggested. The conclusion about the need for legislative enforcement of the powers of institutions of civil society in the field of political socialization of the Russian youth is made.
