The improvement of legislation in the field of standardization in the Russian Federation involves bringing the national standardization system in line with international agreements and other regulatory documents in the field of standardization at the supranational level in order to improve and optimize the structure of the national standardization system. The article substantiates the expediency of using in Russian practice a series of international standards ISO 8000, ISO 22745, dedicated to data quality, which will allow Russian companies to establish their own information quality management system and determine the necessary requirements for this.
