Russian Federation
New business financing mechanisms are actively developing in the Russian Federation, among which partnership finance occupies a special place. In the Russian Federation, partnership financing is experimental. To date, the register of the Bank of Russia includes 33 organizations, both large banks and financial organizations, as well as small companies providing partner financing services. Partnership finance is becoming an alternative financing mechanism that offers access to investments through equity participation in projects, financing through the purchase and sale of goods and property under a financial lease agreement and the issuance of guarantees for third parties. Thanks to partner financing, the financial market infrastructure is expanding through the introduction of new financial instruments that expand access to capital, stimulate innovation, reduce financial risks, and open up new opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses. Partnership finance is a promising business development tool and, if applied correctly, it can provide sustainable financing, reduce risks and create the basis for a long-term partnership between investors and entrepreneurs.
