In the article the statistics of number of disabled children both at the federal level, and in the Orel region for 2012-2015 is analyzed. The short analysis of realization of state policy in the field of social protection of the population at the level of the region is presented. The analysis of the regional legislation is carried out, defining main activities of authorities of the Orel region on realization of regional policy in the sphere of social protection of disabled children.
