In the context of increasing geopolitical tensions, sanctions pressure, and rising technological and cyber risks, the issue of ensuring national economic security is becoming a priority. Traditionally, the primary focus in scientific and practical research has been on macro-level aspects of economic security: the dynamics of the gross domestic product, the state budget and balance of payments, the stability of the national currency, import dependence on key resources and technologies, etc. However, a qualitative assessment and effective management of economic security are impossible without taking into account the sustainability and adaptive capacity of micro-level entities, namely, enterprises in the real sector, which is discussed in this article.
