Integration of technical support in CAD
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article discusses the issues of complex organization of technical support for computer-aided design (CAD) systems. The main focus is on the selection, integration and optimization of technical tools that ensure the efficient operation of design systems, including server equipment, workstations, peripherals and specialized software solutions. The concept of integration is also considered as an important stage of engineering design, associated with the creation of a common assembly of individual components and combining all related documents. The main tasks of integration are considered, such as coordinating the technical characteristics and parameters of components, ensuring compatibility and integrity of the assembled product, as well as developing a single set of technical documentation. An approach to creating 3D models of product assembly using the top-down method implemented in modern CAD systems that support associative links from control structures is considered. This approach can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of design, reduce development time and reduce the likelihood of errors when making changes to the project. Examples of the implementation of this approach in popular CAD systems such as Compass-3D and SolidWorks are considered. The advantages of the method are described, such as automatic updating of the model when parameters change, easy adaptation to changes in the size and shape of the product, saving time on development and making changes. In conclusion, it is concluded that integration is a prerequisite for the successful implementation of projects of complex technical orientation, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of the final product.
