The article analyzes and compares the poems by B.L. Pasternak and A.A. Tarkovsky, in which the biblical story of the creation of man is reinterpreted (transformed). Both poets write about the emergence of a special kind of human being who can understand the natural world and create. The fundamental similarities in the interpretations proposed by the authors indicate the kinship of their artistic universes.
