The article analyzes the conceptual domain of the term "spiritual and moral culture" in the ontological and communicative aspects using hermeneutical methodology. Spiritual and moral culture is considered not as a social construct, but as a manifestation of human godliness, realized in the synergy of freedom, conscience and virtue. The work reveals the nature of spirituality as an aspiration to the Absolute, and morality as a form of personal achievement in the conditions of the fallen world. Based on the synthesis of patristic heritage and philosophical and philological concepts, it is shown that spiritual and moral culture is a form of "God-bearing" personality, in which the idea of creating a "new man" in the Holy Spirit is realized. Special attention is paid to the concept of conscience as an inner temple, moral choice as an act of freedom and responsibility, as well as culture as a space for the embodiment of divine truth. It is proved that spiritual and moral culture cannot be reduced to a moral code or a social norm, representing a process of assimilation to God (deification) and communion with God, which can be considered as the highest form and archetype of communication (the theory of the "Honored Interlocutor" of academician A.A.Ukhtomsky).
