Abstract (English):
ntroduction. The article considers aphoristic units as components of the unique information archive of universal supra-ethnic values with a considerable humanizing potential. This vector of research is relevant in light of the escalating conflicts between peoples. Aim. The aim of the article is to show that aphorisms have a great humanizing potential, since they record mainly ethnically neutral wisdom, and are perceived by recipients regardless of their ethnocultural affiliation as an instructive legacy of previous generations in the form of mentoring. Methodology and research methods. A comparative-contrastive analysis of some collections of aphorisms, a semantic analysis of aphoristic rhetoric and the quantitative method were the main research tools for achieving the aim. Results. The study confirmed the hypothesis that people have recognized the problem of national differences as a source of conflicts throughout history, but they have not perceived it as a moral and ethical issue of an individual. Rather, it has been treated as an inevitable consequence of the geopolitical landscape of the planet, i.e. as the problem of international relations lying within the scope of national policy of states and ethnic communities. Scientific novelty. The semantic invariants in the aphorisms of the study were defined which helped to embrace a considerable humanizing potential of these units and present national funds of aphorisms as archives of cultural globalization of different peoples. Practical significance. The humanizing potential of the world fund of aphorisms should be used as a social lever for promoting the common spiritual heritage of human civilization to ensure conflict-free communication between peoples.
