MIGRATION AS A FACTOR IN LEVELING SOCIO-ECONOMIC DIFFERENTIATION OF RUSSIA’S REGIONS

Abstract (English):
The Object of the Study. Territorial disproportions of socio-economic development in Russia. The Subject of the Study. Mobility of the population as a factor in more effi cient use of labour resources which contributes reducing regional asymmetries in economic and social development. The Content of the Article. Issues related with current socio-economic situation in Russia’s regions, diff erentiation of population incomes and regional budgets, housing aff ordability, labour market indicators and migration have been analyzed. The Purpose of the Study. Figuring out the determinants of regional disparities and elaboration of recommendations in migration sphere promoting to equalization of socio-economic diff erentiation of Russia’s regions.
