This article examines the problems of administrative and legal regulation of labor migration in the context of the Russian Far East. The region is facing special challenges related to the shortage of labor and the need to attract migrants for economic development. The existing legislative mechanisms for monitoring and accounting of migrant workers are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to shortcomings in law enforcement practice, which includes bureaucratic barriers and corruption risks that directly hinder the effective regulation of migration processes. The article also discusses proposals to improve administrative legislation aimed at simplifying the procedures for the employment of migrants, as well as improving the conditions for their integration into Russian society. The practical significance lies in the direct formation of an integrated management model that can increase the share of legal employment and strengthen trust in institutions of state power.
