This article analyzes the level of complexity of the summer camp program at the Faculty of Physical Education (hereinafter referred to as FPE) of the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute (hereinafter referred to as KSPI) in the 1980s. Purpose of the work: to determine the level of complexity of the program of summer training-camps at FFV in the 80s of the last century, the quality of the educational process, the professional level of physical fitness of students in the 1980s. Research methodology: consisted in viewing and analysis of archival data, theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, survey of teachers and graduates of FFV. The analysis of the content and quality of the curriculum of the summer boot camp of the 1980s, conducted in our work, will help managers and teachers of the present time to compare the level of training of students of past years with the level of their wards, to revive in the institution away summer boot camp, thereby improving the level of training of future teachers and teachers of physical education.
