The article examines the processes of globalization and deglobalization, analyzes the KOF globalization index, which reflects these processes, demonstrates the position of the Russian Federation in the ranking of countries according to the index and its subindices. Particular attention is paid to the processes of financial globalization. Also the development of the financial market in the Russian Federation in the context of deglobalization processes after 2022 is considered, the measures of the regulator and government agencies in 2022–2024 are analyzed in some areas: price and financial stability, consumer protection, combating unfair practices in the financial market, ensuring the sustainability and stability of the financial market, developing the payment and settlement system, building technologies and supporting innovations. Directions for improving financial market regulation in 2025–2026 are proposed.
