This article is devoted to the study of one of the stages of the era of palace coups. The longest reign of the era is that of Anna Ioannovna (1730-1740). The article addresses issues related to the everyday life and customs of that time. Based on historical sources, it provides examples of the empress's activities and entertainment. An attempt is made to examine the peculiarities of the customs that have left their mark on Russia's further development and its economy. The purpose of this article is to analyze works on everyday life and customs during the reign of Anna Ioannovna, as well as to identify the main changes in the customs, costumes, hunting, and entertainment of the nobility in the 18th century. The issue of Anna Ioannovna's family relationships and the potential impact of this foundation on her policies is raised.
