EXPANSION OF BUSINESS ECOSYSTEMS AS A MARKET MONOPOLIZATION FACTOR

Abstract (English):
The article discusses issues related to the development of digital business ecosystems. The analysis of various points of view related to the definition of the business ecosystem concept is carried out. The factors influencing the efficiency of business ecosystems are analyzed. Research in the field of defining the concept of a business ecosystem and the factors of its effectiveness objectively proves the need to create such associations in the future. The creation of business ecosystems at this stage of development of both the Russian and global economies is an objective reality due to the convenience of the services offered to customers and the opportunity for the participants of such associations to diversify their activities. The analysis of the number of consumers of the MTS digital ecosystem has shown a tendency for its expansion, which, according to the study, may ultimately contribute to the development of platform monopolies. The growth and development of business ecosystems can lead to the formation of oligopolistic markets prone to monopolization, which can ultimately negatively affect consumers and the prospects for the development of a competitive market.
