В статье рассматриваются истоки и развитие апофатического дискурса. Определяется различие между апофатикой и катафатикой, фиксируется два объекта апофатики, отмечается близость апофатического и мистического дискурсов. Рассматриваются этапы становления апофатической традиции от Платона и Аристотеля к Плотину, Проклу и Дамаскию, Дионисию Ареопагиту и Николаю Кузанскому. Делается вывод о том, что апофатическая традиция определила гносеологические и языковые границы, но при этом и обозначил нерациональные способы постижения того, что лежит за пределами обыденного мира.
The article examines the origins and development of apophatic discourse. The difference between apophatics and cataphatics is defined, two objects of apophatics are fixed, the closeness of apophatic and mystical discourses is noted. The stages of the formation of the apophatic tradition from Plato and Aristotle to Plotinus, Proclus and Damascus, Dionysius the Areopagite and Nicholas of Cusa are considered. It is concluded that the apophatic tradition determined the epistemological and linguistic boundaries, but at the same time it designated irrational ways of comprehending what lies beyond the ordinary world.
