В статье рассмотрено достаточно редкое состояние — отрыв хорд митрального клапана, обсуждается этиология и механизмы его развития, клинические проявления, методы диагностики и способы лечения. Также описан клинический случай отрыва хорды митрального клапана на фоне бактериального эндокардита у мужчины среднего возраста без предшествующей патологии сердечно-сосудистой системы

The article considers a rather rare condition — separation of the chord of the mitral valve, discusses the etiology and mechanisms of development, clinical manifestations, methods of diagnosis and methods of treatment. Also described a clinical case of separation of the chord of the mitral valve, complicated by bacterial endocarditis, middle-aged men without previous pathology of the cardiovascular system
