Abstract (English):
The textbook reveals urgent topics of ethnopsychology and key approaches to the study of ethnopsychological phenomena. The book examines the historical path of the formation of ethnopsychology, analyzes the status of scientific directions, methodology and categorical-conceptual apparatus of ethnopsychological science, presents the results of empirical studies of the mentality of different peoples. Also, the textbook reflects modern views on the problems of ethnic groups, nationalities, ethnic identity, ethnic mentality, the image of the world. New views on the problems of intercultural communication, ethnic conflicts are presented. The materials of practical tasks and exercises, given in the textbook, will allow to expand the students' ideas about the specifics of carrying out ethnopsychological research.
