The article substantiates the need to update the transport strategy and related issues of technological sovereignty. The changes in the work of the transport industry that occurred against the background of the current geopolitical situation are described. The external and internal constraints affecting the performance of the transport industry have been identified. The key components of technological sovereignty in the transport industry have been identified. It is concluded that the formation of the technological base for the development of the transport complex is the core of the sustainable development of the transport industry. A list of measures is presented to achieve the targets of the updated transport strategy and address issues of technological sovereignty.
