500 ## _$aFor the first time in Russian criminological science, a scientific justification of the private criminological theory of cognition and prevention of crime in the field of sports, designated in the author's interpretation as sports criminology, is proposed. This particular theory is based on the author's own developed theoretical and applied concept of criminological assessment of crimes and their determination, United by a common sphere of public relations, which is formed around the organization of large-scale state and public sports activities and direct participation in it, provided with appropriate ideological, legal, economic, financial, pedagogical, technical and, in part, proper criminological resources.
