This article focuses on building a digital ecosystem in China’s new-energy automobile industry. It examines how companies can build digital ecosystems through smart manufacturing, connected cars, artificial intelligence, supply chain integration and cross-industry collaboration to drive innovation and sustainable development in the industry. Using case studies of specific automotive companies, it reveals the key role of digital transformation in the new energy automotive industry and provides strategic suggestions for the future development of the industry.
