The paper analyzes some features of the recovery of property damage caused to the environment as a result of offenses in the use of aquatic biological resources in the conditions of the domestic state. The emphasis is placed on the increase in the number of offenses in the field of the use of aquatic biological resources in recent years, which entails the need to recover property damage caused to the environment. The analyzed materials of judicial practice on the issue of bringing to justice for harm to the environment when using aquatic biological resources demonstrate a different approach of law enforcement entities to the analysis of environmental legislation and the coupling of criminal and administrative liability with civil liability of offenders. The necessity of mandatory application of civil liability along with both administrative liability and criminal liability for offenses in the field of the use of aquatic biological resources is emphasized.
