This article explores the concept of social technologies as intellectual capital, focusing on their role in improving communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing in different social contexts. By examining the impact of social technologies on individual and collective intelligence, the study emphasises their importance in fostering innovation and driving societal change. Case studies, such as the use of social media in political movements and virtual teamwork in remote working environments, illustrate how social technologies enable people to utilise their intellectual potential.
